The huber family took over the business after GD Brown passed away in 1996 and revived the business over the next 20 years. Selling scooters, new and old as well as pre loved bikes, we have now added an eclectic collection of interesting and rare classic and vintage bikes, all for sale.
Providing a friendly personal service, with a lifetime of experience and knowledge to help you choose the right bike for you, we also provide excellent after service in looking after your chosen bike or scooter.
Now based at hubers garage on the green at Shalford
G D Brown first started selling Vespas in 1951. In fact G D Brown Motorcycles became the first UK dealer to stock the Vespa Scooter, which was built under licence in this country by the Douglas Aircraft Factory in Bristol. Remarkably we are still selling the ever popular Vespa range which forms part of the massive Italian Piaggio concern.
At our showroom, we have a large selection of used motorcycles and scooters to suit most budgets and requirements.

Over the years G D Brown has moved with the times and has the latest type of MOT inspection equipment. We also offer full workshop facilities for servicing and repair to most makes and models, including a tyre supply and fitting bay with state of the art balancing machine.
G D Brown Motorcycles is a rare local dealership in this day and age and being a family business, our main priority is customer care and satisfaction.
The showroom and workshop are located on the Horsham Rd, next the green in Shalford, GU48DQ.
